Why It Matters?

Whistleblowers play a crucial role in maintaining the credibility of academic research and institutions. PAOLA works to ensure they are protected, heard, and empowered to speak up.

Role of SciLink:

SciLink plays a key role in the PAOLA project by leading dissemination efforts and ensuring its impact reaches academic institutions and policymakers. The team is responsible for developing the framework (website) for the Observatory, creating a communication toolkit to support whistleblowers and institutions, and designing an e-learning platform to raise awareness and educate academic communities on whistleblowing. Through these efforts, SciLink helps transform research into actionable change, strengthening integrity in academia.
