Researchers Mental Health Observatory

The SciLink Foundation is proud to have been a partner in the Researcher Mental Health Observatory (ReMO) project, which aims to support the mental well-being of the European research community. ReMO’s mission is to connect researchers, institutions, and policy stakeholders, foster the exchange of best practices, and promote the recognition of mental health as a key element of institutional responsibility.

Our involvement in ReMO as a collaborator reinforced our mission to approach research career support from both a professional and human perspective. We believe mental well-being is a prerequisite for a sustainable and successful research career, and we are proud to have represented this vision at the European level.

As part of our collaboration, SciLink contributed by:

  • Local conference organization in Budapest – We coordinated the on-site logistics, programme management, and participant support for one of ReMO’s key professional events.
  • Delivering  conference presentation – We shared our approaches to improving researcher mental well-being and our insights about the social impact of the project.
  • Networking and knowledge exchange – Through our role as a partner, we supported international collaboration, encouraged interdisciplinary dialogue, and contributed to an open, accessible knowledge base in the field of researcher mental health through open publications and contributing to the promoting of the Staircase Survey and ReMO Manifesto
