We believe sustainable research careers require more than technical expertise—they demand resilience, communication skills, ethical practice, and inclusivity. Our training integrates gender equality, intercultural competence, and research ethics into every program. By collaborating with partners such as the TIB, University of Siegen, Eurodoc, and MCAA, we ensure our work reflects the evolving needs of the research community.

Whether through a single workshop or a multi-year project, SciLink’s mission is clear: to provide accessible, high-quality training and mentoring that strengthens both individual researchers and the global scientific community.

Our Origins

Our work is built on two core pillars:

Courses and Training – Expert-led programs in transversal and research career development skills, covering topics such as Communicating Science, Leadership in Research, Career Management, Intercultural Skills, and Wellbeing.
Mentoring – Personalized guidance for PhD students and early career researchers, provided by vetted mentors with diverse academic and professional backgrounds.

Founded in 2018 in the Netherlands, the SciLink Foundation is dedicated to empowering researchers at every stage of their careers. We are a CRKBO-certified organization, originating from the MSCA Innovative Training Network project Eduworks (2013–2017), and our mission is to level the playing field in researcher professional development.
